Stephen Holbrook: guitar, piano, vocals Brett Spross: guitar, mandolin, vocals Jon Hall: guitar, djembe, vocals Jeremy Bently: bass Mark Suhonen: drums How's Kelly was created in the fall of 1997 when five guys came together from very different parts of the country (CA, CO, CT, and TN) to do what each of them love -- ministry and music. Incredible, divine circumstances brought this group together, and they've been having a great time thus far. The band recorded its first independent full-length album, Waiting for the Tide, released in February '99, after excellent response from their seven-song promotional disc (April '98). The only complaint with the new album is that they can't seem to produce enough! How's Kelly's rhythm section is kept in time by the creative beats of Mark Suhonen and is supplemented by the bass licks of Jeremy Bentley. Jon Hall's onstage flair is coupled with guitar work, vocals, and percussion. Brett Spross plays lead guitar, mandolin, and also shares a bit of the vocal action. Although some of the vocal duties are shared, Stephen Holbrook carries the majority of them, as well as plays guitar and piano. The future seems promising for these guys; unique vision, and shared convictions define who they are and who they hope to become. Keep your eyes open for these guys!!
